Peggy DeLucia
More about Mrs. DeLucia
I am a graduate of the University of Houston in May of 2005; I immediately began my career as a teacher in a private school in League City Texas. I worked with Pre-k (3) to Kindergarten for seven years. During that time I also expanded my area of expertise to include Early childhood in the Montessori program; I hold a certification in this area. I served as a mentor educator in Montessori for 3 years before relocating to Georgia. Relocated to Georgia and was placed in an Autism class in 2012-2014; this is where I discovered my gift for educating special needs children in 2014 I became duel certified to include special education. In 2015 I began my career in special education as a teacher in Mcduffie County. I worked as a self-contained educator for TMMS and in 2019 transferred back to my first love of elementary and began co-teaching at Dearing.
