Meet the ESOL Teachers!
Mr. Edwards
Mr. Edwards has been teaching for over 17 years. This is his fourth year working with the ELL students of McDuffie County. He has previously taught in the First Grade, the Third Grade and has also worked as a STEM Teacher.
This year he will be serving the ELL students of Thomson High School, Thomson McDuffie Middle School, and Dearing Elementary.
When not teaching, Mr. Edwards enjoys anything outdoors including: hiking, kayaking, fishing, and camping. He has been married to his beautiful wife for 15 years and has three wonderful boys.

Hello, My name is Pam Dean.
This is the beginning of
my 27th year teaching. I have taught English as a Second Language in McDuffie County the past 24 years. My previous years I taught 2nd grade and Pre-K. I was born and raised in Thomson and am a product of the McDuffie County School System. I am married to a THS graduate and have two daughters. My oldest daughter graduated July 25, 2020 from THS and my youngest attends THS. In my free time I love to spend time with my family, craft and travel to the beach. I look forward to working with Kindergarten, 1st, 4th and 5th grades this year!
