About Me
Hi DES families! My name is Brittany Webb and I am a Pre-K teacher at Dearing Elementary. The 2026-2027 school year will begin my 7th year teaching, and my 6th year at DES. I am married to my wonderful husband Phillip and we love to travel. I am from Georgia and have lived here my whole life. I grew up in Augusta and later moved with my family to the Appling area. I graduated from Harlem High School and currently hold my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I can't wait to teach your children this year!
Some things that are always helpful to work on with your child at home:
- Shapes
- Colors
- Practice identifying their name
- Practice identifying the letters in their name
- Counting
- Speaking in complete sentences
- Letter recognition (on items around the house, store, etc)
- Rhyming
- Clapping out syllables
- Hygiene (washing hands, coughing/sneezing into elbow, using a tissue for their nose if needed)
