Welcome to 1st Grade!
Hey everyone!
My name is Jennifer Ellis and I am excited to kick off this school year at DES. This year in first grade will be filled with lots of learning and love, and I cannot wait to see our students grow. Thank you for trusting your children with me and the amazing staff at our school. I know it is going to be a great year.
A little about myself-- I am from McDuffie County and a Thomson High School class of 2010 alumni. I attended Grand Canyon University and studied in the Elementary Education and Special Education program. This is my first year with my own classroom, but I have been a paraprofessional for 7 years and am proud to say I have spent almost all of those years in McDuffie County. I am married and have 3 daughters- Reagen, Willow, and Harper. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
