Safety Patrol
Seventeen DES 5th graders were recently inducted as members of the DES Safety Patrol. Students were nominated by their current and former teachers for displaying leadership qualities and modeling qualities of a good citizen. Students participated in three training sessions, including team building, responsibilities of the Safety Patrol, and practice scenarios.
